Was this review helpful? Report Share. Excellent training during licensing, decent starting wages and bonus structure. Heavy metrics based work, call center environment. Often mandatory overtime but there are also incentives to volunteer for overtime. It is very difficult to move out of the call center and into either a branch or administrative role. I have worked here for 5 years and have changed roles within the call center 4 times and earn almost twice what I started at.

Benefits are excellent, calls can be a grind but most customers are happy with what they receive from Fidelity. Too much focus on "inclusion" over qualification. Salaries aren't in line with the industry but the benefits, profit sharing and company match are designed to make up for it Good culture if you buy in and if you hustle you can make a fine career here.

Pros Great benefits, generous k match and profit sharing, great place to start out. Could get lost in the crowd. The training schedule is intense and stressful and you are held back if you ask for help too often. You can request time off but you may not get it. Overall, this is a green corporate monster with handcuffs. Pros Pay is a better than average to start.

Cons Micro-managed, stressful. Pros Great benefits, awesome training program, management is super accommodating and helpful. Cons the work itself is monotonous, and overall just not enjoyable. Would you recommend working at your company? Help people considering your employer make a good choice. It is just a great all around place to work from all aspects. The company has a strong focus on it's employees while maintaining a customer driven attitude and open and fair opportunities for all.

Pros Cares about it's employees. Cons Front line workers do lose out on some perks due to the need to be there for the customers. Contractors are giving basic benefits while FTE are given better benefits from the start. No PTO for contractors. Barely any room for advancement in my role. I have to compete with the rest of the countries contractors to get a full time position.

Been in this role for 3 years and still not given the full time position. I'm grateful for having a career for many years with this company. I feel like the company changed a lot from when I started to when I finished. They got more metric heavy and expected way too much from the employees and the pay wasn't what it should be for that level of heavy work load and expectations.

I feel like in my last role many of us were being told to meet metrics that none of the managers ever had to do themselves since the transition services role was a newer job. I think the heavy workload and constant thanklessness of the job really drove down moral.

People were leaving the role and the company in large numbers when I left. I think also some of it was me that I was getting tired of call center work. Pros Good about time off, job security since it is hard work and call center. Cons unrealistic metrics from management. Fidelity is a decent place to work. Self less time , motivation for career and personally growth. Expect to put in time and energy to perfect your craft.
