Eleven plates austin tx

Con: lots stairs, if there was an elevator it was mot marked nor mentioned despite saying that I had someone disabled. No view; seriously, I wonder if I read it wrong The restroom was at the opposite end of the building within the restaurant but if you're disabled that could be a serious problem, my. They offered to cook a new one I declined they did remove it from the bill which I appreciate.

Mostly I found the food options to be overpriced, maybe a little too ambitious with some of the flavor combinations. We enjoyed ourselves. The food and service was very good!

Great Salmon. Add a 2nd fish entree. Eleven consistently impresses with modern, fresh dishes, a terrific wine selection and creative drinks.

Thank you so much for the pleasant visit, we will be back. We made a reservation for the special Mother's Day Brunch and we're not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and busy helping the many diners there that morning. The owner? Was especially gracious without being obtrusive.

The offerings were very good, not great, but a very solid spread. The curry chicken salad could have had more curry though. Other than that, we had no complaints and left very happily fed.

We look forward to returning to try the regular menu items. This place is in a beautiful location. The wine list is out of this world! The service is great and very accommodating. The dinner was a bit pricey but so worth it. Four of us went for lunch to celebrate Admin Day. Food was good and we were able to sit at a table on their great patio. Drinks and wine were exceptional. The food could not have been better! Highly recommend! The west side of Austin needs great places like this to avoid having to fight with downtown or Congress parking issues.

I originally thought this might be focused on the wine bar more than the food, but I had a great steak and my business associates both had salmon. All was amazing as was the server who was attentive, but let us have a business meeting without "butting in".

I highly recommend this restaurant and wine bar! Always enjoyed this restaurant and am sad to see that it closed. Have eaten here a number of time and aways enjoyable. Good menu and exceptional service. This was Easter Brunch. It was fine but we thought a little over priced for the options they presented. Still an enjoyable Easter Brunch. You'll find an interesting and tasty wine list, plus a unique and flavorful menu. There is a balcony patio for outdoor dining that has a wonderful view.

For a romantic dinner, or a nice place to chill after work, Eleven Plates is certainly worthy of your short list. I should add that our service experience has been consistently excellent. We'll be back. Good service and a great wine list. Both of our entrees were delicious. We will return. Superb restaurant and in my neighborhood. I would happily travel to eat here but am so glad I don't have to! Great dishes and wonderful wine. We had fried brussel sprouts which were good.

Fried shrimp were the ez peel type that has a slippery texture - poor quality shrimp. The preparation of the shrimp was fine but the shrimp were quite disappointing. And the duck confit gumbo has an unappetizing bowl of mush - not good at all - they should take this off the menu.

Wait staff was nice. This was a lunch to celebrate a medical milestone with a nice bottle of wine and very disappointing food. Dining at Eleven Plates is always a delight.

Cocktails and food offerings change somewhat frequently, reflecting local sourcing and seasonal offerings. My most recent visit was highlighted by the evening's special, a grilled salmon filet, served with a deep purple Thai passion sticky rice, enhanced by a ginger sauce, with a hint of coconut milk, all complemented by sugar snap peas.

Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and wines from an extensive list. When I was deciding between two options, she offered to pour a taste of each, so that I could select the choice best suited to my palate. I awoke the next morning, and the first thought which entered my head was "What an exceptional dinner I enjoyed last evening!

Went with a group of girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. The service was fantastic! The food was good and the atmosphere was great. It was a good time to catch up with friends. It was our first time there and I would definitely go back!

I was looking for a new Austin restaurant with great food and ambiance I found eleven plates and wine may be more like a neighborhood gem than a culinary experience. They were out of 2 featured items. A third item, which was also featured as a special, was actually a regular listing on the menu. I feel the Valentine Dinner was overpriced for what was served. There was some confusion from our waitress about how many entrees each couple can order. We had to correct her because it was in print and others around us was ordering multiple entrees.

Overall I was not impressed and will not go back. Go for the wine. Great service, wine list and awesome sommelier. My steak came out cold and my wife's salmon was partially cooked. I'll be back This place is a staple of perfection for the West Lake community. Many restaurants in this area fail, but this one is a hidden gem, so please eat here and support it! Perfect for lunch, dinner, or to-go food - it's all delicious. The menu changes seasonally, so your taste buds never get bored.

There are some very unique menu items offered that you can't get anywhere else. This place certainly can hold its own when compared to Jack Allen's across the street. The wine offerings are perfect for any budget and occasion, and always picked out based on your personalized needs.

The owner Mike is a friendly and familiar face, and pays close attention to the patrons' needs. The only thing missing is their brunch. They had to close for weekend brunch due to the lack of patrons, but it was amazing and delicious! If enough people support this place, maybe they'll be able to bring brunch back! Service was fantastic! If it was a bit warmer, we might've sat outside on the deck. It wasn't crowded, there is a nice atmosphere, not too loud, just right!
