Adding to this, their entertainment systems were faulty and didn't work half of the time I was on the plane. The sound quality may have been alright but the headphones that they provided gave a really muffled sound so it was really hard to understand. I tried to use my personal headphones but the entertainment system would only allow for Air India's "special" headphones. The food was mediocre and they served their meals in spurts.

Within the first two hours of the plane taking off, they served us one meal. Then there was no food or water service for at least 8 more hours. Then they gave us a meal 4 hours before we were supposed to land and then again a heavy snack an hour later. So basically, we were left to fend for ourselves for 8 hours with no food or water. I am dreading the journey back from Delhi to Chicago now. Pros: "good indian traditional food is required with enough quantity and good quality.

Cons: "crew behaviour not up to extent. And seats were literally falling apart. Even in upright position, they were reclining all the way under the weight of average passengers. That did not happen so after waiting for another 2 hours into the flight, I spoke to another attendant who did reset the entertainment system.

It did not work. Brought it to her attention and the response I got was, "Sorry, the flight is full and there is no other seat available". I had to sit through 14 hour long journey looking at other passengers or hear babies cry non-stop! Cons: "Entertainment system having issues Headphone quality not good". Cons: "Entertainment was not working for entire Row and whole flight.

Pros: "Nonstop to India. Seat space. Ease of check in. Flight times. Wanted to reach India in day time. Cons: "Food was ok. Expected vegetarian food to be better in Air India. Some entertainment systems broken. Pros: "Staff was courteous and helpful. Pilot was great. Movies kept on stopping and had to started again only to stop one more time. Pros: "The food was decent. Cons: "Other than this, the on flight entertainment was broken for the 15 hour flight, and people and their kids became restless.

The staff refused to do much about it. It was a really bad experience. Pros: "Direct flight from Chicago to Delhi". Cons: "Poor wheel chair assistantance. Booked 2 tickets same time.

But got seat different places.
